Star Singer: Mother’s Day Celebration Turns the Stage Emotional

Star Singer is set to have a memorable Mother’s Day celebration on the stage. In the upcoming episode, the contestants can be seen paying a heart-touching tribute to their mothers on the special day.



In the teaser, the episode begins with KS Chithra’s beautiful rendition of the evergreen lullaby ‘Omanathinkal Kidavo’. Further in the video, the contestants are seen reading out letters to their mothers and sharing emotional moments on the stage. In the same video, singer Sithara Krishnakumar also talks about the sacrifices her mother has made for her, with tears in her eyes.





In the same weekend episode, Surya Narayanan is all set for a smashing comeback. The singer, who missed lines in the previous episode, is expected to hit a golden star with his performance of Madhu Balakrishnan’s hit song ‘Amme Amme’. In the teaser, Sithara is seen hugging Surya and applauding his comeback.



A romantic duet performance by Vidhuraj and Krishnasree also awaits viewers in the weekend episode. The duo will be singing ‘Vellaram Kunnileri’.



Star Singer continues to win hearts with the outstanding performances of the contestants. The show recently had an eviction, with Swarna and Theertha leaving the stage. The music show currently has eight contestants competing for the grand prize of Rs 50 lakhs.
