The countdown has begun for the highly anticipated grand finale of Star Singer 9. With just a day to go before the big event, here’s everything we know so far about the final stage of the competition.
The 5 finalists
The makers have already announced the five finalists who will compete in the finale. Disha, Nanda, Aravind, Balram, and Anusree are the contestants who have made it to the final round of the competition.
Who is the 6th one?
One of the most anticipated announcements for the finale is undoubtedly the name of the sixth contestant who will compete on the big day. Either Sreerag or Gokul is waiting for the audience vote to secure their spot in the final round.
The LIVE event
After a brief hiatus, the grand finale of Star Singer will be held as a LIVE public event. According to the updates, the gates will open for the public on Sunday, October 20, at 2 PM in Kochi, with the shoot scheduled to begin at 3 PM. The TV telecast of the finale episode will start at 6 PM.
Vidya Balan and Hariharan
Two incredible talents will make a spectacular entrance to grace the grand event. Bollywood star Vidya Balan and singing sensation Hariharan are the guests of the evening. While Vidya Balan is expected to promote her upcoming Diwali release, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Hariharan is sure to share his insights with the young contestants.
The star-studded event
In addition to Vidya Balan and Hariharan, the event will also feature Sujatha Mohan and other celebrities. Alongside the competitive singing, the grand finale will showcase performances from renowned artists, including Anna Prasad, Biju Kuttan, Binu Adimali, Mavelikara Shaji, and Rashmi.

The much-loved anchor of Star Singer, Ranjini Haridas, is set to join Varsha as the host for the finale event. Her presence is sure to add even more charm to the evening.
