RIP Lata Mangeshkar: Malayalam TV celebs mourn the demise of India's nightingale

Legendary singer, Lata Mangeshkar passed away at the age of 92. The singer breathed her last on Sunday morning (February 6). She was admitted hospitalized from January after she tested positive for Covid-19 and was also diagnosed with pneumonia.
The whole country is saddened by the demise of the legend and social media is flooded with condolences messages.
Malayalam TV celebs also took to their social media accounts to pay tribute to Lata Mangeshkar.
Referring to the singer's demise as the end of an era, Super 4 judge Jyotsna wrote, "End of an era. This loss feels so personal .. Thank you for the treasure trove of music you have left behind for us . Aum Shanti".

"What a great loss to the Indian Film and Music industry!!!!! Great artist, great Human, Guiding light to the next and future generations. May you rest in peace Lathaji. Thank you for the great Journey you have did. Let every other artist follow your path," reads the note shared by musician and Star Singer judge Stephen Devassy.

Musician and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Keralam judge Shaan Rahman also paid tribute to 'India's Nightingale' on social media.
"Rest in peace dear Nightingale of India. Your voice will stay through generations. Prayers," he wrote.
