, has filed a complaint alleging that her house at Pattiparambu, near Chelakkara, Thrissur has been attacked by a gang. On the other side, her neighbour Devayani has given a complaint to the police alleging that Sivakumari had pelted stone at her head.The Pazhayanur SHO Jayapradeep said the police have registered cases based on the complaints of both the persons.The police said the incident appeared to be sequel to a boundary dispute between the two neighbouring families, particularly about the access road to the houses, and the civil cases are pending in different courts.
Devayani had filed a complaint about one year back alleging that Sivakumari had attacked her husband Chandran on his head. Chandran was reported to be still in comma. Devayani had asked Sivakumari to clear the road to the house by cutting the plants. When the demand was not being met, Devayani complained to the panchayat. The plants were cleared with the intervention of the panchayat authorities later. Enraged by this, Sivakumari pelted stone at Devayani, as per the complaint filed by the latter. Devayani is still in the hospital. Subsequently, a group of supporters of Devayani attacked the house of Sivakumari, on Saturday last week. Sivakumari complained that the gang had vandalised her house and destroyed several items, and assaulted her. She was also hospitalised, and she was discharged on Friday, Ardra said.The police officials said the complaints are being investigated and no arrests have been made so far.
On the workfront, Ardra is currently seen playing the character Divya in the show 'Satya Enna Penkutty'.
