Recently, the 96-year-old Karthyayani Amma made headlines after she became the oldest ever candidate to appear for the Kerala Literacy Mission's Akshara Laksham literacy exam.
"No other better person to on this Women's day. The real example of women power. Karthyayaniamma who scored 98 marks in Aksharalaksham at her age of 97. And you know what her dream is to pass the SSLC Exam before the age of 100... May God bless her to fulfil her dream. She proved that age or gender is not a barrier to achieve our dreams...Salute Amma #realwomenpower #ageisnotabarrier #liveforurdreams #inspiration," reads her post.
Interestingly, Karthyayani Amma was also seen as the guest of the Comedy Star's Women's Day special episode.
