The eighth season of 'Star Singer' has staged many unforgettable moments not only for the contestants but also for legendary musicians. This time, the show will felicitate ace singer and JC Daniel award winner P Jayachandran. Making the moment extra special, the special honour was done by none other than legendary singer P Susheela.
Sharing the BTS pictures from the special episode, singer and TV judge KS Chithra has announced the event to fans.

"Legendary playback singer #PJayachandran chettan is honored by his idol #Susheelamma for completing 56 glorious years in his singing career. The function was held during the relaunch event of Malayalam television's iconic musical reality show "Star Singer Season 8," she wrote.

Along with the post, the singer has also announced that the popular reality show, which was paused due to the pandemic, will have a gala relaunch soon. The star-studded relaunch episode will be aired on January 2.

The eighth season of the popular music reality show 'Star Singer' had a grand launch early this year. The show featured 40 contestants from different walks of life and it also gained attention among music lovers. However, during the second wave of the pandemic, the show was suspended due to TV/film shoot restrictions.
