Newly launched show 'Kudumbavilakku' becomes the most-watched serial on Malayalam TV

' has topped the TRP charts of Malayalam TV shows. The show, which was launched on 27 January, managed to gain popularity within a short time. 'Kudumbavilakku' portrays the life of Sumithra, a housewife who takes care of a big family including her in-laws. The show which marked the TV comeback of Meera Vasudev, also has KK Menon, Sreejith Vijay and Nishita in lead characters.

Musical drama 'Vanamabadi' which was at the numero uno spot currently has slipped to the second position in the

TRP ratings

. As per the current track, lead character Mohan Kumar has learnt the truth that Anumol is his own daughter.

Popular show 'Neelakkuyil', which is soon expected to go off-air is at the 3rd position. The show has Nithin Jake, Latha Sangaraju and

Snisha Chandran

portraying the central characters.

Interestingly, the recently launched show '

Mounaragam

' managed to grab the 4th position in the TRP charts within a short time of its launch. The soap which portrays the life of Kalyani, a speech-impaired young girl, marked the Malayalam TV debut of actors Aishwarya and Naleesh.
