Daya' featuring Kannada actress
Pallavi Gowda will have the premiere episode today (November 1). The show, which will portray the inspiring life of a young woman, will be directed by Seetha fame

. When ETimes TV contacted, the director shared that this show will surely bring a change in the industry.
"Daya is the story of a young girl, who lives in a slum. Her motivating story of reaching success in her life is the crux of the story. The plot is inspired by a real-life story," Girish said.
Emphasizing the recent controversy where the jury denied the best serial award in Kerala State TV awards, stating the serials lack quality, the director shared that this serial will stand out from the usual formula.
"It is the story of the unmatchable strength that lies in every woman. The cliched style of 'Ammayiamma v/s Marumakal' conflicts will not be there in this serial. If the Malayali audience accepts the serial, it will surely bring a change in the industry," he added.
Talking actress Pallavi Gowda, who will be playing the main protagonist, the director shared that she is a great artist and the apt one for the role.
