My mother once assured to take care of my needs until I succeed: Bigg Boss Malayalam finalist Shiyas Kareem

finalist Shiyas Kareem's unconditional love for his mother is well known to the television audience.

On this Mother's Day, TimesofIndia.com got Shiyas talking about his mother and the model-turned-actor almost went speechless while thanking his mother for being the reason for what he is now.

"I struggled to be a model for almost 7 years and I started losing hope. I still remember, she hugged me and said, 'You follow your dreams, I will take care of your needs'," Shiyas recollects.

The actor shared that he has faced many difficulties in both professional and personal life before his Bigg Boss stint. The model mentioned that his mother was working for daily wages in a private company to make ends meet.

"After coming out of Bigg Boss, the first thing I requested my mother was to quit her job. The guilt of making her work always haunted me," Shiyas shares.

The model-turned-actor mentioned that he was born when she was just 16 years old and she has always been his favourite friend, motivator and biggest strength.

"I feel like touching my mother's feet whenever I think of the fact that she endured all the pain at such a young age just for me. From that day, she started living for me," he says.

In the Bigg Boss house, Shiyas Kareem kept talking about his mother and the model was left teary-eyed many-a-time recollecting moments with his mother.

"As soon as I stepped into the BB house, I started missing my mother. She used to pamper me so much that I didn't have to even recharge my own mobile phone as she would take care of all of that. From tea in the morning to my diet regime, she takes care of me even now," he shares.

Talking about Mother's Day, the newbie of M'town requested everyone to express love for their mothers at least on this day.

On the work front, post Bigg Boss Malayalam, Shiyas Kareem became one of the most loved models of the fashion industry. The actor was equally excited about the fact he has acted with Mohanlal and Mammootty, the two superstars of Malayalam cinema.

"All credits goes to my mother. I am a person who believes that my heaven lies under the feet of my mother. I am a part of my mother and I will always cherish it till my last breath," Shiyas signs off wishing all the doting mothers a happy Mother's Day.
