More than his full name, Govind Padmasoorya, the host is popular as 'GP' among the viewers. And, for the first time, he has revealed the story behind this much-loved nickname.

"I have studied my higher secondary education in an international school where there was only very limited south Indian students. Most of the students there came from other parts of the country. It was a fifth standard student in the school once asked me what my name was. He was from Punjab and had difficulty to pronounce Govind Padmasoorya. He cut short the name and called me GP. When in college, most of my friends had said that calling me by full name is very difficult so they took Soorya from it. I was Soorya for them. When I came to television, the very name came as a difficulty. We had after many deliberations thought of taking GP as it is more convenient to call. The name has worked well with the audience and now am known more and fondly called GP than Govind Padmasoorya," he shared.

Recently, Govind has also shared that he is very excited to make his TV comeback. The anchor-actor shared that he is happy to make his comeback in this tough time, hoping that the show will brighten the days of people.

On the other hand, the Jeeva Joseph - Aparna hosted game show is gaining attention within a brief time. The show which features 8 couples, who are popular in social media, has managed to entertain the viewers with the unique format and interesting games.
