Manju Pillai, who is known for her on-screen avatar Mohanavalli in the comedy serial Thatteem Mutteem, wishes actress KPAC Lalitha for a prosperous life. The actress wishes the veteran artiste on the occasion of 'Lalitham' 50, a mega show which marks KPAC Lalitha’s completion of 50 years in cinema.
Manju opens up about her dear on-screen mother-in-law, Mayavathi amma played by actress KPAC Laitha when the anchor Vijay Asok interviews her on the red carpet of the show.
Manju says that actress Lalitha is more like family to her. “We actually compete with each other while acting our roles in Thatteem Mutteem. Lalitha amma has always been there for me in my life in good and bad times. I remember once director Sreekumaran Thampi sir told me that I will be a KPAC Lalitha in future. I have always tried to observe her acting and tried to learn from her in the same,” adds Manju.
The mega show will be aired on the channel on March 18, at 5 pm. As per the promos of the show appeared on channel’s social networking page, the veteran actress will be honoured by prolific figures of showbiz industry.
