Meghna Vincent remembers iconic scene from 'Chandanamazha'; When the sticker covering snake's mouth came out, everyone including the cameraman ran away

Not many might recognize actress Meghna Vincent by her name but, they surely know her as Chandanamazha's Amritha. Though the TV serial went off-air years ago, the Malayali audience still loves the iconic show. Recently, in a candid chat with ETimes TV, actress Meghna Vincent recollected her fond memories from the show.
"Amritha is not just a reel character, she is a part of me.I played the character both in Malayalam and Tamil for about 4.5 years. More than being Meghna, I lived as Amritha during that time. Even after years, people still recognize me for my character and they call me Amritha. I strongly believe, the love I am getting now, is not for Meghna, but for Amritha," she said.

Ask Meghna one of her best memories from the show, and without any second thought, she said it was the scene where she had to hold a snake. Talking about the sequence, which is still making rounds on social media, the actress shared that it still gives her goosebumps.
"So the scene was, Amritha, tried to save her husband Arjun, from a serpent. Before the scene, I was so anxious. The one, who brought the snake, gave me tips on how to hold it. I think, the snake was about 8 feet long, they asked me not to hold it so tight that it doesn't swirl to my hand. I was shivering till I held the snake, but later, I was comfortable. But, during the take, the sticker that covered the snake's mouth, came out and everyone ran away. Even the cameraman left the camera and ran away out of fear. I still managed to hold the snake in my hand, till the snake charmer came and held it. I will never forget that moment," she recollected.

Talking about the memes and trolls the serial is still facing, Megha shared that she is enjoying it.
"Memes and trolls are pieces of great creativity. I enjoy that creativity thoroughly. Till it hurts a person, memes and trolls are enjoyable," she concluded.
