Master Peace teaser is out; Nithya Menen's web series hints at a 'Great Indian Family Trauma'

The teaser of the much-awaited Malayalam web series, 'Master Peace' is out. Starring Nithya Menen and Sharaf U Dheen, the web series is expected to be a hilarious family drama.
The fun-filled teaser
The over-a-minute teaser starts with a tense conversation between two families, seemingly delving into the marital challenges confronted by their respective children. Further, the short video shows intense disputes and conflicts among the family members, with a major focus on the lead couple portrayed by Nithya Menen and Sharaf U Deen. As the teaser unfolds, the term 'drama' morphs into 'trauma,' altering the caption to read 'The Great Indian Trauma.'


Interestingly, the teaser has also given a glimpse of the star-studded cast of the web series. Renji Panicker, Maala Parvathi, Shanthi Krishna, Asokan, Jude Anthany, Divya Pillai, the list goes on.

Produced by Mathew George, 'Masterpeace' is directed by Sreejith N with screenplay and dialogues by Praveen S. While Aslam K Purayil does the cinematography, the editor is Riyas K Babhar.

Streaming from September
Along with Malayalam, the series will also stream in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi. The series is expected to have its premiere in the first week of September.

Earlier, Nithya Menen shared a note on her social media account announcing the project.

On a similar note, the Crime thriller series, 'Kerala Crime Files' gained much appreciation from the Malayali audience. The first-of-its-kind series in Malayalam directed by Ahammed Khabeer had Aju Varghese and Lal playing the lead characters. On the other hand, yet another web series starring Saiju Kurup, 'Jai Mahendran' is also under production.
