Manjil Virinja Poovu fans are quite furious over Mallika and Sona for their wicked plots against Anjana. The gorgeous vamps not only have a striking on-screen chemistry but they also share a great bond off-screen too.
Actress Jismy, who plays Sona in the show, has recently shared a picture flaunting her love for her on-screen partner-in-crime Rekha Ratheesh (Mallika).

In the show, Mallika and Sona are keen upon torturing Anjana, the love interest of Manu. Currently, the storyline progresses with Mallika assigning a goon named Shaji to kill Anjana.
Nandini fame Malavika Wales is seen as Anjana in the show. 'Manjil Virinja Poovu' marks the Malayalam TV comeback of the actress who was last seen in 'Ammuvinte Amma'. Model-turned-actor Yuva Krishna dons the role of Manu Prathap, the son of Mallika. The show is also the debut TV appearance of Jismy.
Popular dubbing artist Shobi Thilakan also essays a meaty role in the show.
