Mammootty’s Mamaangam and Jayasurya's Thrissur Pooram to hit TV screens soon

At a time in which the countrymen are locked indoors, TV channels are trying their best to air interesting content. The Malayalam channels, for instance, are airing popular, hit movies of prominent actors. Mammootty’s

Mamaangam

and Jayasurya’s

Thrissur Pooram

are two of the recently released movies which will soon be screened on TV. The channels’ official online pages hint that the films will be premiered in the first week of April. Thrissur Pooram is slotted for 7 am on Akpril 5.

Thrissur Pooram, directed by Rajesh Mohanan, features Swathi Reddy, T.G. Ravi, Mallika Sukumaran and Sabumon Abdusamad along with Jayasurya in important roles.

The period film Mamaangam, directed by M Padmakumar tries to tell the fictionalised story of North Kerala’s chaverukal (suicide squad). Actors Mammootty, Master Achuthan, Unni Mukundan, Kaniha, Anu Sithara, Prachi Tehlan and Iniya play important roles in the film.
