In the era of OTT platforms emerging as a potential medium of entertainment, the first ever OTT reality show in Malayalam, 'The Next Top Anchor' will soon premiere. The first-of-its-kind talent hunt show explores and showcases aspiring young anchors.
Judged by actor and hosts Sabumon Abdusamad and Nyla Usha, the show is expected to be a fun and critical platform for aspiring passionate talents. Along with the duo, popular TV hosts, Karthik Surya and Meenakshi Raveendran can also be seen on the judging panel.
As per the sources, the show will premiere on February 27, featuring some interesting audition rounds. After the 25-minute-long audition episodes, the team will be featuring 20 talents as contestants.

'The Next Top Anchor' is touted to be the first OTT reality show in Malayalam. Earlier, the fourth season of Bigg Boss Malayalam was streamed 24x7 LIVE on an OTT platform, but it is for the first time that an exclusive OTT show is set to entertain fans.
TV host -turned-actor Sabumon Abdusamad is a household name among the telly audience. The Bigg Boss Malayalam 1 winner is currently seen as a judge in 'Oru Chiri Iru Chiri Bumper Chiri'. On the other hand, Nyla Usha, who hosted 'Minute To Win It', is also active in movies.
