#Lockdown: Malayalam TV fraternity requests government support for artistes

The nation-wide lockdown has halted the working of entertainment sector, pushing many small-time artistes into financial issues. Recently, Malayalam TV fraternity reached out to Kerala ministers Kadakampalli Surendran and A K Balan seeking help for TV artistes who are facing issues during the lockdown.
The executive committee members including chairman G Jayakumar, vice-chairman S Karthikeyan and general secretary P Suresh Unnithan put forward the request to the government.According to the committee member S Karthikeyan, the ministers have assured them to draw the attention of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to the matter and do the needful.
