Lakshmi Nakshathra remembers late comedian Kollam Sudhi: Two days before his demise, I had asked him to take a complete body checkup

It was a month before Kollam Sudhi had passed away in a road accident. But, the Star Magic team is still mourning the unexpected demise of the late Sudhi. Star Magic host Lakshmi Nakshathra shared a heart-touching video online paying tribute to the actor and it left fans in tears.

'I loved him the most'

In the video, Lakshmi said that though Star Magic is like a family to her, she loved Sudhi the most.

"I loved him the most on the set. He would always call us with sweet words like Muthe, Vave, Ponne. He is the only person who could sense whether I am going through a hard time or having a bad day. Even though I manage to hide it from others, he would just come to me and ask 'Good Morning, it seems like my dear friend is not in a good mood, what happened?'" she recollects.

'We never saw him angry'

Talking about Sudhi, Lakshmi says that he was a jovial person who didn't get angry at all.

"We were together for almost 5, 6 years. None of us have ever seen him getting angry even once. Though he faced many hardships in life, he always had a smile on his face," she said.

'He is irreplaceable'

In the emotional video, Lakshmi said, "Yes, we say when a person goes, someone else comes into your life. But, not in Sudhi Chettan's case. He is irreplaceable. Whenever he came to the set in a bad shirt, I used to push him to change it. I was the one who would pick his shirt,"

'He was a complete family man'

Talking about Sudhi's love for his family, Lakshmi shared that his life revolved around his family.

"If he brought his family to the set, when we got some snacks on the floor, he would rush to their room to give them his share. Even during small shoot breaks, he would video call them and check how his little one is. I don't know how his family will overcome his loss," she said.

'I asked him to take a complete body checkup two days back'

"Two days before the unfortunate accident, we had to shoot and I had scolded him too. He was going pale and there was a yellow coloration in his eyes. I had asked him to take a complete body checkup and he had promised me he would do that too," Lakshmi recollected.
