With the abatement of rains, the sun brought some respite to the flood-hit Kerala as the water receded in many low-lying areas and the state is slowly coming back to the normalcy. The collection centres have received reliefs from different parts of the country to help the affected people.
In light of this miserable condition, the team of the popular show '
Aliyan V/s Aliyan
' has set a new example by taking the initiative to contribute to the good cause. The team, which includes actors
Aneesh Ravi
,
Manju Pathrose
and
Riyas Narmakala
, has collected money and other materials themselves and contributed to the main collection centre at
Thiruvananthapuram Corporation
office. The team has also collected money from their fan clubs and handed over it to the flood relief group.
When TimesofIndia.com contacted, the team was spotted in the Corporation office helping the volunteers to pack the materials for supplying in various part s of the flood-affected areas of the stare.
Talking about his experience of being a part of the relief operations, actor Aneesh Ravi shared that he is impressed with the unity of the people.
"Even if it is a moment of agony, I am feeling proud as a part of the young generation. There are youngsters who are in the collection centres for days who tirelessly working only to help fellow humans. We should follow them, they are in the right path," Aneesh shared.

in the flood relief operation.
