June 24, 2019 marked the first anniversary of the reality show which crowned TV host Sabumon as the winner.

On this occasion, we spoke to Basheer Bashi, the social media star who was once the popular contestant of the show.

In a freewheeling chat with TimesofIndia.com, Basheer Bashi walked down memory lane and narrated his best and worst inside the BB house.

"This one year of my entry to the show feels like a dream. People rated me as a flirt and womaniser as I have two wives. But now, people understood my real self and family audience has accepted me as one among them," Basheer explains.

The businessman also said that people still shower love to him by hugging and blessing him whenever they meet him.

Talking about the worst experience inside the Bigg Boss house, Basheer expressed that he is still upset with the ugly fight that took place between him and Pearle Maaney.

"The worst memory is my fight with Pearle. They taunted me a lot, viewers have only seen glimpses of the whole incident. Pearle provoked me by talking about my family and I couldn't control myself. But, I regret losing my temper there," he narrates.

The social media star also said that he is upset that some people still hold the grudges on him. Basheer expressed that he is sad about not being invited to Pearle's wedding.

"Some of us were not even invited to the wedding. It is sad people still hold grudges for the issues inside the house," Basheer adds.

But, the 'Kochi Freaken' is happy that he is still in touch with the majority of the contestants and they often plan meet ups to cherish their bond.

When asked about his one advice for the contestants in the upcoming season of the show, Basheer advised that patience is the first and foremost quality needed for being a Bigg Boss contestant.

"You should need patience. Then have a mind to bear anything. Don't think that you can act inside the house and win hearts. Be yourself. It is one of the best experiences in life," Basheer shares.

The model-turned-actor also suggested model Ajmal Khan as his substitute for the second season of Bigg Boss Malayalam. Basheer thinks that the stylish model can be one of the most appealing contestants in the upcoming season.
