I am waiting for a good role: says Shelly Kishore
Shelly Kishore, who became the house hold name with her acting prowess in the teleserial Kumkumapoovu, is on cloud nine. The actress, whose debut movie in Tamil "Thanga meengal" is gaining accolades from various quarters and is premiered at much film festivals including International Film Festival of India (IFFI). The movie is about a middle-class family, comprising a father, a mother and their daughter and the narrative is set against the closure of government schools across Tamil Nadu.
Though Shelly is the excited about her Tamil movie, the actress says that she is now waiting for that big break in Mollywood. She shares “From my own experience, I am saying, If you are a serial artiste, then you won't get any good role's here. The industry is rich with a number of talented young artists already and i didn't receive any praiseworthy characters here yet." However she is quick to add that she is waiting to get a foothold in Malayalam films .”she said.
Shelly has done small roles in portmanteau film Kerala Cafe, Chattakari, and Akam.
