During the self-introduction task, Veena Nair poured her heart out about the hardships she has undergone during her mother's death. The actress mentioned that she even thought of 'selling' her kidney to get money for hospital expenses. During the narration, Veena was also seen apologising to her husband for not sharing the traumas she has undergone years back.

TimesofIndia.com contacted Veena's husband, popular RJ, Aman to get his reaction on Veena's emotional outbreak.

The husband shared that the episode just made him even more proud of his bold wife.

"It is true that I didn't know the depth of the hardships she had gone through during that particular phase. She chose to hide it from me and I clearly know it is out of love she made that decision. I am not shocked as I am somehow aware of the struggles she was undergoing at that time.," Aman said.

The RJ expressed that he is happy that Veena could finally open up about this through the show. "I am happy that she finally poured her heart out," he added.

He said that this emotional confession will make her even stronger.
