‘Guppy’ television premiere on Christmas day

Here's a happy news for all Tovino Thomas’s fans out there. His critically acclaimed film ‘Guppy’ will premiere on Mazhavil Manorama on Christmas day, Sunday at 1 pm. The film, directed by Johnpaul George, was lauded for its poetic frames and the take on human relations, though it did not fare well at the box office. The film portrays the struggles of a boy, Appu, played by Master Chethan , who sells aquarium fish for his livelihood and the turmoil caused by Tejas Varkey (Tovino Thomas) in his life.Sreenivasan, Dileesh Pothen, Rohini, Alancier Ley and Noby are the others who come in significant roles in the film.
