Gizele Thakral shares her Bigg Boss Hindi experience, says ‘I was on bed rest for 5 months after the show’
Bollywood actress and model Gizele Thakral, who entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 as a contestant, has quickly risen to become one of the most admired and emotionally resonant housemates. Within just five weeks, Gizele has not only proven her strength in tasks but also touched hearts with her candidness and boldness.
In the recent Oridathoridathu task, a segment designed to give contestants a platform to share their life stories, Gizele opened up for the first time about her journey, both personal and professional. She began by speaking about her multicultural family background, revealing that her mother is from Alappuzha and her father was a proud Mr. Punjab. Gizele shared the deep impact her father’s untimely death had on her family, leading to emotional hardships from a young age.
Moving into more personal territory, Gizele spoke openly about her love life, including a painful breakup with her first boyfriend after discovering he was already married. She also spoke of her last relationship with a British citizen.
A particularly emotional moment came when fellow contestant Oneal Sabu asked about her experience in Bigg Boss Hindi. Gizele revealed that she entered the show as a wildcard entrant shortly after completing her Hindi movie. "Back then, I was very short-tempered and full of energy. There were many fights and arguments. During one task, I got injured and fractured my leg. Although I was there for just two weeks, I had to leave the show, and I was on bedrest for almost five months. I was literally limping," she said.
Gizele, who recently suffered a hand injury during a task in the show, also made an appeal to fellow contestants to be cautious during physical tasks, as she still carries trauma from her previous injury.
