Malayalam television actress Gayathri Arun, who is popular for her role in

, is all set to make her debut on the silver screen. According to reports, the actress will be seen in Venugopan's upcoming movie '

Just like her serial, the actress will be seen playing the character of a cop. The movie also features Anoop Menon in the lead role as special branch CI Jose K Mani.

As per reports, Gayathri had rejected many offers earlier as they would clash with her serial Parasparam. Since she was needed only for a few days on set for this film, she decided to go ahead.

Recently, 'Sarvopari Palakkaan' made headlines after the lead actress Honey Rose left the project. Aparna Balamurali has now been roped in to play the part in the family entertainer.
