Comedy Stars host Meera Anil is all excited to celebrate her first Onam post-wedding. The host tied the knot with businessman Vishu during the lockdown. Even though the celebrations have taken a hit this year due to the pandemic, the couple is sure to make it memorable for them. Pandemic took a toll on all of us
We planned to have a gala wedding, but due to the pandemic, we decided not to do it. Even though the celebration was small, we are happy that we could be together. There are many couples who can't be with their dear ones for a long time. I feel blessed in that regard.

With the right person next to you, everything around you looks beautiful
Both Vishu and I are hardcore travel lovers. Soon after the wedding, our plan was to have our honeymoon in Meghalaya. We love rain, so we wanted to enjoy the rains in Cherrapunji together. Sadly, we couldn't make it. But, I have realised something. When you have the right person, the one you love next to you, even a small pond looks beautiful to you.

I am waiting for the first gift
Even before marriage, I confessed to Vishu that I am a person who loves surprises. I want gifts for all special occasions. So, for Onam, I am waiting for the first official gift from my husband. The wait is quite exciting. I hope it's a Kerala Saree and can’t wait to flaunt it.
Vishu is a foodie. So, I am planning to cook a full-fledged Sadya for him, the traditional Onam Thali. I dream of standing next to him and watch him taste it and comment about the level of salt in it.
Onam is the festival of togetherness. So, we are also planning to have a small get-together with family. As our wedding was held with a very limited number of people, all our dear ones couldn't make it. So, we are hoping to meet them, too.

Can't wait to hold his hand and go for an all India trip
As I said, Vishu is a travel lover. He already went on an all India trip. During our initial chats, I had conveyed my wish to go for the same. So, I am waiting for this crisis to end so that I can hold his hand and take a walk through the places he had visited.
We are also planning to witness the serene beauty of our state. I don't think we can wait for more, we all need a break. We are planning to visit Calvary Mount and I wish to see the Idukki arch dam, too.
