From falling in love in class XI to filing a Habeas corpus against family's strong opposition: Lesbian couple Adila and Nora make shocking revelations in 'Parayam Nedam'

Lesbian couple Adila and Nora made headlines with their struggle for survival. After many obstacles, the duo is finally leading a happy life. Recently, the duo was seen as guests in the show 'Parayam Nedam' and they made some sensational revelations too. Here is a quick look:

In the show, the couple shared that they fell in love during Class XI.

"Our families were settled in Saudi Arabia. She joined my school in Class XI and that is when we fell in love with each other. None of us proposed to each other, but we understood the spark we had for each other. Our bond strengthened and we decided to live together. We were sure that we didn't want to marry anyone else," Adila said.

The duo shared that their respective families learned about their relationship and they had a strong objection to it. For about three years, the family forced them not to be in touch and soon they had to relocate to Kerala.

After many years, Noora reportedly eloped and started living with Adila. But, one day Noora's family rushed to their house and forcefully took her back.

"I was so shattered. I didn't have any chance to contact her. So, I filed a Habeas corpus. Police and family had no other choice but to produce her to court. The honorable court declared that we are adults who have the right to choose our lives and let us live together," Adila shared.

The couple has been facing abuse online ever since they came out in the public about their relationship. However, in the show, they shared a message that they received online.

"They predicted that we would not last for more than two months. We faced severe cyber attacks, not that it is getting a bit less. Once we got a message from a man saying that he is ready to marry us both together. We replied that we don't need it," the couple said.

"We are living the life we dreamt of, we are happy and safe. To our families, though you don't support us, please don't trouble us. To people like us, if you are sure about yourself, don't hesitate to come out. However, have proper education and grab a job. When you are self-sufficient, you are free to live the life you wish for," the duo said.

The couple is currently settled in Chennai and both of them are working in one of the popular corporate firms. When asked about their wedding plans, the duo shared that they wish to have an intimate ring exchange in the presence of their loved ones.
