are busy making memories on their journey of becoming parents. Mridhula, who is six months pregnant, quit her show 'Thumbapoo' and is enjoying every bit of the new phase of her life now. Recently, in a candid interview with ETimes TV, she spoke about her new updates. Excerpts

'Don't Fool Me'
We were not planning to have kids this soon. But, this was totally unexpected. God's blessing and now I am all excited.

I started feeling so dizzy, with vomiting sensation, leg pain, and more. So, I took the test and was surprised. I called Ettan (Hubby Yuva) and told him about the test. He was on the way to his shoot at 5 AM and I told him 'You are going to be a father'. His first reaction is 'Come on don't fool me'.

'Quitting the show was not the plan'
I was not planning to quit the show at all. Even hubby suggested working till the day I can. But as the shoot progressed, I started going weak. After the first scanning, my doctor suggested taking rest as there was a small complication. So I decided to quit the show. Thankfully, the team was very supportive.

'It is not what you see in movies'
Pregnancy is not simple as what you see in movies. It has some worst sides too. I couldn't even take the smell of food in the initial months. I would vomit even when someone cooked in the neighbourhood. Forget that, I would even vomit seeing food pictures. I lost almost 4 kg in a single month.

But, it has its blissful side too. Now I look at my belly and wonder 'God, there is a little human inside me'.

'Baby kicked when I was watching KGF 2'
From the 15th week, I started feeling movements, just like a butterfly is inside me. Then the same continued. Now baby kicks whenever I get excited. The baby kicked for the first time when we were watching KGF 2. I called Ettan and he also felt the same. At that moment, we realized that someone is between us now.

'Yes, I am not the first woman who got pregnant'
I have started getting offensive comments from social media lately when I put pictures with the baby bump. There are comments like 'Are you the first woman who got pregnant etc. Well, this is something most celebrities go through and I don't bother much."

Yes, I am not the first woman who got pregnant, but, it is the first time that I am going through such a phase in my life. Everything around me is changing and it is beautiful. So, I would love to share it online. If anyone has got a problem, don't bother to see them.

'Daddy is busy getting a 6-pack'
Ettan is excited and he never misses to take care of me. But, he is juggling between two serials and is very busy. However, the daddy-to-be is going to work hard to get his six-pack back so that he will look more handsome in the baby shower pictures.
