fame managed to win the hearts of both housemates and viewers. From being called 'crybaby' by co-contestants to revealing about her broken marriage in the show, Lekshmi's short journey was a mix of emotions. In an exclusive chat with ETimes TV, the former contestant spoke about her best and worst times in the house, criticisms and about that one person, who is happy about her eviction... Excerpts...

My son is the only one who is excited about my eviction
"I am still under the hangover of the show, when I try to close my eyes, the house, the contestants, everything flashes in my mind. At times, I even doubt whether I am still inside the house," she shared.

However, Lekshmi is happy that finally, she is able to be back with her son, whom she missed a lot inside the house.

"The first thing my son told me was, Abba, I prayed for you to get eliminated. He will be the only person in the world, who is happy that I am evicted," Lekshmi laughed.

Lost the opportunity without even grabbing it
Getting evicted from the show in the very early stage is a bit upsetting for the singer. She shared that she was prepared to complete 100 days in the show.

"Think I was the only contestant who packed things for 100 days. As I didn't have anyone to get me things every week, I made an extra investment and bought everything for 100 days," she said.

Talking about getting evicted just after two weeks, she added, "It was one of the biggest opportunities of my life. It feels like I lost it without even grabbing it fully. I am also upset that I couldn't meet the expectations of the people who had sent me into the house. I also think, if I was a bit cute or had better support outside, I would have stayed longer".

Bigg Boss Malayalam 3: Here's a look at the journey of evicted contestant Lekshmi Jayan

Singer Lekshmi Jayan got evicted from Bigg Boss Malayalam 3. From entertaining the housemates with her singing skill to receiving complaints about her reportedly lazy attitude, Lekshmi's stay in the house was quite eventful. Here's a quick look at Lekshmi's Bigg Boss journey.

During the premiere, host Mohanlal welcomed Lekshmi as an emotional person. Even during the introductory video, she was spotted in tears talking about her mother and son.

The contestant was widely criticized as a crybaby as she was spotted in tears many-a-times in the show. Interestingly, Lekshmi often said that she is ok to cry as that is one of her unavoidable way of expressing emotions. But, during the nomination, many contestants pointed out this as one of the flaws of Lekshmi and accused her to be fake.

The contestants were also seen nominating Lekshmi for ack of co-operation in household works. Some of the contestants accused her as a slacker too.

During the first task, Lekshmi narrated her personal life in front of everyone. She spoke about her attachment with her son and about her broken marriage.

Lekshmi had competed in both the captaincy tasks. The first time, she has won applauds for her good performance in the mind game. Recently, she participated in the captaincy task after her brilliant performance in 'Devasuram' task.

Lekshmi gained much applauds for her performance in 'Devasuram' task. Her hilarious way of making Noby laugh was one of the highlights of the task.

During one of the discussions, one of Lekshmi's comments about food triggered a huge brawl in the house. Both Adoney and Ramzan lashed out at her for the same. On the same day, Anoop shouted at her for not letting him talk.

Lekshmi was seen happily accepting the eviction as she said that she was expecting the same. "I told right, that was the vibe. Just like my wish, I am leaving the house without hurting anyone. I feel I am the luckiest, I am the only one who would get a selfie with everyone," she said while bidding goodbye to her inmates.

Three reasons to enter Bigg Boss
When asked about her decision to enter the show, Lekshmi pointed out 3 reasons for the same.

"I had faced many ups and downs in my life. So, if my life can be an inspiration to anyone who sees me, I wanted to be a positive influence in that life. Also, I was a talent, who was not much noticeable in the industry. Everyone knew that I existed but I was never a familiar face. I wanted to use the popularity for my career. The ongoing COVID crisis was a problem for it, so I thought why not use the exposure. On the personal side, the woman who was much dependent on her mother wanted to be out of her comfort zone to check whether she can handle life," she opened up.

I was not a cry baby
During her stay inside the house, Lekshmi was widely criticised for her sensitive nature. Even during the nomination, many contestants were seen calling her fake mentioning the same.

"I haven't cried inside the house complaining that someone insulted me or cornered me. I cried about my personal life. Think, I was the only person who entered the house leaving a mother and a son. I was the sole breadwinner of my family, so I was worried about them every second. I only cried when I spoke about my mother or my son, it was because, whenever I thought about him, the only image I could think of was his emotional face when I made the last video call to him. His question, 'Abba, so you won't call me hereafter' was lurking in my mind always. I was never fake, this is what the real Lekshmi is. My eyes well up whenever I talk about my loved ones," said Lekshmi.

It's baseless to accuse me as a slacker
Another accusation against Lekshmi was that she was being lazy in the house and escaped from work citing health issues.

"I admit that I was a lazy person before entering the show and said it openly too. But, I was happily doing every job in the BB house as I had the urge to learn new things. No one can ever complain that I didn't work. There were days when I cleaned the whole house, washed vessels for hours, it is baseless to call me a slacker. Yes, there was a day when I was down with Diarrhea and that day I took full rest, but even that day I didn't skip my work. I didn't highlight what I did, maybe that was my flaw. Another accusation against me as I was concentrating only on make-up. I agree that I had an inferiority complex that my face is not pretty, so I was a bit camera conscious. But, I never skipped my chores for it," she shared.

A clarification
One of the most controversial moments in Lekshmi's BB stint was one of her statements regarding food. The singer shared that one of her colloquial usages was misinterpreted by the co-contestants.

"I never intended to insult anyone regarding their food intake, I meant, everyone needs good food to be active in the house. I used the term 'Vaya Neettuka' to convey the same, but it got misinterpreted. My point was, a person who knows to cook should be there in the kitchen team," she clarified.

The worst moment
When asked about her worst moment inside the house, Lekshmi shared that it is talking about her divorce.

"I never wanted to share about my divorce in the house. But,

Bhagyalakshmi

forced me for it. I didn't want to accuse someone who is not present there and gain sympathy. They confronted me for not letting my ex-husband meet my child, I have my reasons for that. I didn't want to give my son a hard time, let him decide once he is grown up. I regret sharing it in the show and disturbed that it was forced one," Lekshmi shared.

Manikuttan is the strongest
Lekshmi shared that her Bigg Boss journey was full of great moments and she happily shared a good bond with everyone. However, when asked about the potential winner of the show, without a second thought, she said it's Manikuttan.

"Manikuttan is the strongest contestant in the show. The way he takes every task to the next level is remarkable. I feel that the winner of such a show should be a genuine person. A person, people can look up to and Manikuttan is one such person in the lot," she opined.

On the other hand, the ex-contestant has a request for the audience too.

"Sympathy shouldn't be the factor to support a contestant. There might be people who come from a financially unstable family or someone who has health issues, but once they enter the show, their performance should be the criteria. Don't support them based on their background but how good a player they are," she concluded.
