Ex-contestant Kutty Akhil: Bigg Boss Malayalam 5 needs a strong wildcard entry who will decide this season's icon

Bigg Boss Malayalam 5 is winning hearts with the unexpected twists and turns in the game. Just like any fan, former Bigg Boss contestants are also keeping themselves updated about the show and one among them is comedian Kutty Akhil. He was one of the popular names from the fourth season. In an exclusive chat with ETimes TV, Akhil shared his opinion about the ongoing season.
"Fifth season is very fast.Both Bigg Boss and the contestants are fast. In the fourth season, we had the sensational Katta task only after 30 days of the game. The task, that evoked unexpected reactions and fights among the contestants. Surprisingly, it was the first task for this season's contestants. Bigg Boss is really fast," he said.

Akhil mentioned that the contestants are also faster this season since the disagreements kickstarted on the first day of the show itself.
"The contestants are also very fast this time. The topics that we thought about addressing after three weeks, came up on the initial day itself. Most of the contestants of the season are very clear about the game. They have closely watched the previous seasons and are sharp about how to gain importance. However, I feel like 90% of the issues in the house are made up for grabbing attention. Only time can say whether the original contestants are really original. All of them are strong, they are not patient for a marathon, they are all set for the 100-meter race," he said.

When asked about the one twist that can be a game-changer of the show, he said that the season needs a strong wildcard entry.
"A wildcard entry is one of the biggest twists in the show that turn the game topsy turvy. Undoubtedly, the entry of Vinay and Riyas, especially the way they entered the show after BB made us listen to their conversation was just epic in the last season. Likewise, it is time for this season to welcome a wildcard entry. Since the show is so much happening, the audience is still confused about where to concentrate. Also, every season of the show becomes popular after one or more contestants, we are yet to find that person in this season. So, it is with that wildcard entry that people will know who the real icon of the season is. Undoubtedly, the wildcard can bring out the real faces in the house," he concluded.
