Coronam 2020: Team Cinemala is back after 7 years

After a gap of seven years, team 'Cinemala', the evergreen comedy show of Malayalam TV, is back. The show titled as 'Coronam 2020' will showcase the fun of celebrating Onam during the pandemic. The star cast of the show includes the all-time favourite comedians Thesni Khan, Subi Suresh, Saju Kodiyan and more.
In a video surfaced online, comedian and Ex-Bigg Boss contestant Thesni Khan shared her excitement in meeting the team after a long gap.

"It feels like a college reunion. To be back with the team is like a celebration. This had brought back many good memories in mind," Thesni Khan said in a video surfaced online.

Besides enacting the Onam special episode, the team also had a cake cutting celebration as a part of their reunion. The director of the show Diana Silvester has hosted a party for her dear team.

'Cinemala' was one of the most loved comedy shows on Malayalam TV which reportedly bagged a place in the Limca Book of Records as one of the longest-running TV shows, too. The show marked the debut of most of the successful comedians of Malayalam entertainment industry. Dileep, Salim Kumar, Ramesh Pisharody, Darmajan Bolgatty, Tini Tom, Subi Suresh are some of the actors who were part of the iconic show.

During the lockdown days, the show had a re-run on TV, too.
