'Comedy Utsavam' show fame Mithun Ramesh to be the lead in a movie

Actor - TV show host Mithun Ramesh, who has become a household name through the talent-comedy show 'Comedy Utsavam' is all set to act in a movie in the lead character.
The film, directed by Satheesh Kumar, who is also the mentor on the TV show, is titled 'Irittiyile Pidikittaapulli.' Mithun plays the role of someone who gets selected to the post of an S.I. Mithun shared a live video on his social media page, on which talks about the project in detail.

Mithun says that his dad was a DySP and passed away while in service.He also adds that many people in his family, including his mom, wish to see him in the service uniform and with this film, it will come to fruition. The film is based on the real-life experience of a police officer named Anshad, from Iritty. "We are trying to present the reality, in a cinematic style through this movie. The actor says the element of who the fugitive aka pidikittappulli of the story is, would be a surprise.
Interestingly, Tamil actor Bobby Simha will also play an important role in this movie. "It would be the character he does after 'Saami 2.' Salim Kumar, Tini Tom, Kalabhavan Prajod, Bijukuttan, Biju Sopanam, Vijayaraghavan, Unni Nair, Surabhi, Sarasa Balusseri, Thushara and Kani Kusruthi will also be part of the movie," Mithun says.
