Comedy Cooks: Competition kicks off with the dish that reflects the cooks' personality
Comedy - The cookery show Comedy Cooks has kick-started with a grand launch, and the team is all set to entertain the viewers. After the premiere episode, the cooks got their first task of the show, and it was to cook a dish that reflected their personality. Well, the twist was not that; the cooks were given a hindrance, a large glove, a fun prop made in the shape of a fork and spoon, or swaddles. In short, the pookies were asked to do the cooking following the instructions of their cooks.
The task started with the buzzer, and the pookies rushed to the pantry to collect the ingredients. Even during the rush in collecting the items, the pantry in charge, Gizele, was seen giving fun tasks to the pookies. The cooks were seen having a tough time getting things done by their pookies. However, the cooks were given time intervals where they could remove the hindrances, and all of them managed to finish the task.
The tasting session started with Sandhyamma presenting her dish, Kappa and Crab Roast. When the judges asked about the story behind it, she narrated how this dish had changed her life.
"This dish changed my life. I had made the same dish for Sujith Bhakthan when he visited, and it went viral online. It was that video that brought the biggest twist in our lives," she said.
On the other hand, Sabareesh presented a Spanish tortilla, which failed to impress both the judges, Chef Nalan and Bhavana.
When Anumol was impressed with the Chicken Thoran, Ansiba also gained appreciation for her Ghee rice and Kozhi Mulakittathu combo. Sabumon tried to impress the judges with his flair for cooking Muthabal and Indian Paratha. Suchithra Nair picked her favorite prawn biryani recipe, and she managed to get good comments.
Further, when Mahi impressed the judges with his Donne Biriyani, Geo presented his iconic Crab Roast in the round. While sharing the story behind the Crab Roast, Geo recollects the incident of cooking the same dish for a fanboy who was fighting a life-threatening disease.
After the tasting, Judge Nalan was seen taking a strong stance that he has got enough fun in the round and warned the contestants to be serious in the competition from the next round. Though there was no winner in the round, the chef appreciated Sandhyamma, Anumol, Ansiba, and Mahi for their dishes.
