Sharing the promo on their social media account, an online community of LGBTQ, GAMA Kerala has lauded the makers for addressing same-sex marriage in the video.

"One of the most influential celebrities in Kerala, Mohanlal supports same-sex wedding in Bigg Boss promo. There are rumors that one lesbian contestant will enter the show this time," netizen and LGBTQ supporter Kishor Kumar wrote.
