Bigg Boss Malayalam written update, July 29, 2018: Shwetha Menon gets evicted, Anjali Ameer joins the game

In the latest elimination episode of Bigg Boss Malayalam, The host introduced the key sponsor of the show and the sponsor gave him a secret box. The sponsor announced that the grand prize of worth one crore is inside the secret box and that will be revealed only on the grand finale day.Shwetha and Ranjini were given chances to speak about each of the housemates and they shared their opinions about everyone.Both hugged everyone and bid goodbye. Diya and Archana were emotional to bid them goodbye. But with a twist, both Shwetha and Ranjini were taken to the activity room. They can see what's happening inside the house through the TV screen.Later, Mohanlal talked to Ranjini and Shwetha. Mohanlal asked their response regarding the comments made by the housemates. Ranjini said that she understood everyone as only 4-5 even had an emotional breakdown during their eviction. Shwetha said that everyone commented that she was evicted for lying. But she confessed that she did in self-defence.The host announced that either one of them should come out of the house. Both said that they wish to play the game. Mohanlal declared that Ranjini is in the game while Shwetha is out. Ranjini was shattered to hear this and started crying. Ranjini commented that it is unfair to eliminate a good contestant. On the stage with Mohanlal, Shwetha said that it is unfair and said that she is not a Kalli (Lier). She expressed that she learned how self-protection can make you a culprit.Shwetha was given a task on the stage by Mohanlal. There were standees of each housemate and she was asked to present the given things to each of it. Shwetha gave the 'Vijayasree pottu' (the victory mark) to Archana and she punched Pearle. Shwetha signed off saying that the game is going to be dirty and she is happy to be out now. In the house, housemates were shocked to see two bags in the storeroom and they predicted there was no eviction. The main door opened and Anjali got in. Diya was excited to see Anjali and hugged her. The door opened for the second time and Ranjini made a re-entry. All the female contestants hugged her whereas all the men were shocked to see the whole scene.
