Bigg Boss Malayalam 7: Sariga opens up to Adhila, says, 'I thought I would never accept two girls in love, but now I adore you both'
“I adore you both. Because of your love for each other, you are both truly blessed. I thought I would never be able to accept you both. I come from a background where girl-and-girl love could never be taken seriously. But now that I see you both together, you’re just like a normal couple. Your love is adorable. I’m going emotional,” Sariga told Adhila.
Social media influencers Adhila Nasarin and Fathima Noora are all set to step into the Bigg Boss Malayalam 7 house, bringing with them a powerful story of love, resilience, and courage. Long before grabbing headlines for their reality show appearance, the couple made national news with their legal battle to live together as partners, a journey that touched hearts across the country.
Adhila and Noora first met while studying in 12th standard in Saudi Arabia. What began as a close friendship slowly blossomed into a romantic relationship. Interestingly, their families were friends too and had initially planned to send both girls to the same college in Kozhikode for their higher studies. With a shared dream of spending their lives together, Adhila and Noora were hoping to come out to their families after completing their education.
However, when their relationship came to light, both families strongly opposed it, branding their love “unnatural” based on religious grounds. Backtracking on their earlier decision, the families prevented the girls from joining the same college. Eventually, the couple left home after facing pressure and resistance. They sought shelter at a facility in Kozhikode, but Adhila’s family soon intervened, physically assaulting her and taking her back home under false promises of support. In the meantime, Noora’s family filed a police complaint accusing Adhila of abducting their daughter.
Separated and in distress, Adhila approached the Kerala High Court by filing a habeas corpus petition, alleging that Noora had been taken against her will and was undergoing "conversion therapy." Adhila also went live on social media to bring public attention to their plight. In a landmark judgment, the Kerala High Court ruled in their favor after holding private conversations with both women. The court upheld their right to live together, recognizing it as a matter of personal liberty and informed choice. The ruling was hailed as a progressive milestone for LGBTQ+ rights in India.
After the verdict, the couple began living together openly and soon captured attention again with a same-sex wedding-themed photoshoot that went viral. Filled with love and celebration, the images were widely shared and warmly received across social media platforms.

The couple has embraced life as content creators, sharing cooking videos, daily vlogs, and lifestyle collaborations that reflect their journey and love story. Their positive presence continues to inspire many. On the professional front, they are working as cybersecurity analysts.
Adhila and Noora have officially stepped into the Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 house, not as individual contestants, but as a single entry. Making a strong statement during their introduction, they said, “We’re not here to play it safe, we’re here to break stereotypes.”
Sariga’s honesty visibly moved Adhila, and fans praised the emotional exchange for its sincerity and impact.
Adhila and Noora, who gained attention through their legal battle for the right to live together as a couple, are both professionals working as cybersecurity analysts. Outside their careers, they’ve also built a strong presence as social media content creators, frequently sharing candid vlogs about their relationship and daily life.
Their entry into the Bigg Boss house was met with a wave of mixed reactions online, from overwhelming support and admiration to criticism and trolling.
