Bigg Boss Malayalam 7: Binny's husband Noobin slams Shanavas for 'Henpecked' remark, says "I wish his kids never become like him"

The drama inside the Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 house has taken a serious turn, as tensions between contestants spill over into their families. In a recent episode, an intense confrontation between contestants Binny and Shanavas turned personal when the latter made a disparaging remark about Binny’s husband, actor Noobin Johny, calling him 'Penkonthan' aka “henpecked.” The comment has not only sparked outrage among viewers but also drawn a strong response from Noobin himself.

During the heated exchange in the house, Shanavas used the term to belittle Noobin, which prompted an emotional reaction from Binny. She immediately called out the disrespect, standing up for her husband and condemning the personal attack. The incident didn’t go unnoticed by host Mohanlal either, who addressed it in the weekend episode, questioning Shanavas for his inappropriate and sexist remark.



Now, Noobin Johny has broken his silence. In a video shared on social media, Noobin candidly responded to the insult, expressing disappointment and concern over the recurring personal attacks.

“It was not the first time that Shanavas had made such a comment about me,” Noobin revealed. “Many asked me to confront him, but I didn’t. I know this is just a game show, and when I entered the house as a guest, I had no intention of creating conflicts. Since the beginning of the show, I’ve also been facing severe cyberbullying from various PR teams.”

Addressing the criticism about his role at home, he added, “Since my childhood, I’ve been helping with household chores. I’m not ashamed of doing the same with my wife. We’re both artists, and we run our home together. If that makes me ‘henpecked,’ I am completely okay with that label.”

Noobin’s message took a sharper tone as he directly questioned Shanavas’ mindset and values. “Shanavas might be someone who dominates women or treats his wife and mother like slaves. Not everyone is like that. He has shown his true culture with his words. I sincerely hope his family isn't like him, and I pray his children never grow up to be like him. We’ve all seen how he respects women,” he said.



Noobin recently entered the Bigg Boss house during family week, and unlike others who got limited time, he was granted an extended stay thanks to a special privilege given to Binny by fellow contestant Noora.
