In the latest teaser released by the makers, Bigg Boss has announced the “Run for the Money Box” challenge, arguably the most exciting and risky task of the season so far. Contestants Adhila, Anumol, and Akbar have been selected to take part in this nerve-wracking race, where speed, strategy, and courage will decide their fate in the game.

As per the teaser, the trio will have to run out of the Bigg Boss house to locate a car parked outside with a hidden money box inside it. Their mission is simple yet perilous: grab the money box and return to the house within one minute. The twist, however, raises the stakes dramatically: the contestant who fails to return on time will face immediate eviction from the show.



While this is a first for Bigg Boss Malayalam, the task draws clear inspiration from Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8, where a similar “money box challenge” left fans stunned. During that season, contestants had to sprint specific distances, retrieve a cash box, and return within tight time limits. The Tamil version produced mixed results. Vishal successfully completed his 60-meter sprint and secured ₹5 lakh, while Jacquline, despite grabbing ₹8 lakh, was evicted after failing to return within the time limit.

When Muthukumaran completed a 60-meter sprint in 12 seconds, taking home ₹50,000, Rayan bagged ₹2 lakh with an impressive return time of 17 seconds.

Pavithra narrowly missed her target, while Vishal succeeded. On the other hand, Jacqueline’s heartbreaking eviction became one of the most talked-about moments of the season.
