Bigg Boss Malayalam 3: From ugly spats to host Mohanlal mocking contestant Firoz, here's a look at the major events in the first two weeks

Two weeks after the grand premiere, the third season of Bigg Boss Malayalam is making headlines with its verbal spats between contestants, emotional moments and much more. Here is a look at the major events inside the house in the past two weeks.

The first task given to the contestants was to share one of their most emotional events in life. From Manikuttan sharing about his friend's demise to Soorya narrating the financial struggles she faced in life, viewers could see the unknown side of the contestants.

One of the most discussed narrations during the task was of contestant Dimpal Bhal. She narrated the story of witnessing the death of her childhood friend and how she met the former's parents after 20 years. Soon after the episode, netizens were busy in fact finding while a section of them believed that it is a 'cook up'.

For the first time in the history of Bigg Boss Malayalam, a real-life couple entered the show as contestants. TV couple Firoz Khan - Sajna along with actress Michelle entered the show as wild card entrants after a week.

Soon after her entry into the house, Michelle made headlines with her argument with Dimpal. In reference to Juliet's story, Michelle accused Dimpal of pre-planning and fabricating the same even before entering the show. She pointed out that Dimpal had got the tattoo weeks before joining the reality show and also her pictures wearing the uniform of the dead girl is not believable. This allegation has left Dimpal offended and she demanded Bigg Boss to bring Juliet's school uniform to prove her side.

In one of the initial episodes, Dimpal Bhal was spotted in a dress and Ramzan commented, '"Oh, she forgot to wear a pant!". This apparently irked Dimpal who warned Ramzan not to comment on anyone's costume ever. Ramzan tried to defend adding that he only intended to make a funny remark.

During the first task, while talking about the financial struggles in his life, RJ Firoz mentioned the importance of having a job. Pointing to Sai Vishu, the RJ said, "Even though you have big dreams, you should have a job". This provoked Sai. He confronted Firoz for dragging him into his story without knowing the facts about him.

Contestant Firoz Khan has received a warning from host Mohanlal for throwing leftovers outside the house. In one of the weekend episodes, the host showed the leftover apple pieces which were thrown outside the house by Firoz. Initially, he looked at others when Mohanlal asked about it. Later, Firoz said that he remembers eating the apple but not throwing it outside. Mohanlal questioned whether Firoz doubts him and played the video of the same. Firoz, who was embarrassed after watching the video, apologised to the host.

Contestants Ramzan and Rithu were seen having an argument over the changes in the teams assigned for the household chores. Ramzan complained that Rithu didn't inform him when she was leaving his team while the latter said he was 'over-reacting'.

Bhagyalakshmi raised a complaint that Dimpal is making tea more than 4 times a day, which will affect the daily ration. When Soorya, the captain, shared the same complaint to Dimpal, the latter defended that she is not over-consuming it like others. In the recent episode, Dimpal was seen accusing Bhagyalakshmi of making a huge issue out of it. "If she is being a 'Kudumbini' (family woman) it is basic manners not to mention the quantity of food someone eats," Dimpal said.

Bigg Boss warned Sajna that she will be sent out of the show if she ever makes a statement about 'self-harm' in the house again. In an earlier episode, Sajna was seen talking about leaving the house to Bhagyalakshmi, she said, "Upon my kids, I can't stay here more. If I stay more, my dead body might be seen here. I can't push myself more. If they don't let me out, they may have to take my dead body out."

In the recent episode, Anoop and Firoz Khan were seen having a verbal spat regarding the latter's attitude in the house. During the argument , Firoz questioned, “Who is Anoop to make such a statement?”. Anoop retorted saying, "Firoz Khan from Kollam is no one to ask me 'Who are you to say that'. It is not Firoz Khan who called me to the show, they would have realised my mettle and invited me to this. Don't judge me, you don't have any rights to judge me.”
