Bigg Boss fame David John is back to TV; lands a meaty role in 'Anna Kareena'

Actor and Bigg Boss Malayalam fame David John is all set to make his TV comeback. The actor will be playing the main antagonist in the upcoming show 'Anna Kareena'. In the KK Rajeev directorial, David will be portraying the character of Bobby John, a fashion designer.
Talking to ETimes-TV about the same, David said, "I was concentrating on movies for a while, but I couldn't say no to Team Anna Kareena who approached me.To work with the ace director of Malayalam serial industry, KK Rajeev is a blessing. I am also impressed with the production quality of the serial; it is as exciting as a movie project."

Besides David, the show will have Catherin, Thomas Kutty, Shilpa, EA Rajendran playing the leads. 'Anna Kareena' will also mark the acting debut of social media star Parvathy, who is reportedly the granddaughter of late actor Sankaradi. According to sources, the show is apparently inspired by the recent sensational murder case of Kevin in Kottayam.
David John became a household name to telly audiences with his stint in the first season of 'Bigg Boss Malayalam'. Even though the model-turned-actor got eliminated in the initial weeks, he managed to gain much attention within a brief time. After the show, David was busy with some movies and modelling.
