Beena Antony has filed a police complaint against a website for inappropriately using her photograph for their online money-making campaign. The actress has lodged a complaint against the website at the cyber cell office, Kochi.
The website used her picture using the name 'Aabha Karpal' and introduced her as a mother from Kiratpur. The website narrated the way she earned money online. The site describes that the woman in the photograph (Beena) has earned Rs 4.5 lakh per month and they are offering a similar package for other netizens to earn like her.
Talking to TimesofIndia.com, the actress shared that she has decided to fight it out legally and has also filed a formal complaint with the Kochi Cyber Cell office.
"One of my friends informed me about the advertisement but initially I neglected it. But now I have realised the depth of the crime and decided to file the complaint. As the website address is registered outside India, it may take a while to solve the complaint," the actress told us.
