Suhana seconded Basheer’s version. “Sreeya Iyer had called us and said that her family had been using her for her money. Basheer accompanied her on shows only as a protection from her family. It was only later than we learnt she was trapping us,” she said, adding Basheer had been completely open with her about Sreeya and even told her that the latter had proposed to him. She urged Basheer’s fans to trust him.
