Arya, Deepan Murali and other Malayalam TV celebs mourn the demise of actress Saranya Sasi

Malayalam TV actress Saranya Sasi, who was battling brain tumour for the past 10 years, passed away today (August 9). Reportedly, the 35-year-old actress was hospitalised due to COVID-19 a couple of weeks ago. Malayalam TV celebs are mourning the sad demise of the young actress.
Actress Seema G Nair, who was Saranya's biggest support during the illness, is the one who broke the news to fans through her social media account.

"An end to all the efforts and prayers, she is gone," Seema wrote, sharing some pictures with Saranya.
"You fought your battle of survival so bravely my dear. Finally, you are gifted with peace is all I can say now. No more pain, no more sufferings. Rest in peace girl," TV host Arya wrote.

Referring to Saranya as an example of survival, actor Deepan Murali has penned a note for her.

"Very shocking and sad news...Rest in peace my dear," actress Souparnika Subash wrote.
Sharing a picture of Saranya, Kayyethum Doorath actress Vaishnavi has also paid tribute to Saranya.
"She left, to the world without pain. No words, rest in peace dear," actress Krishna Prabha wrote on her social media account.

Saranya Sasi was diagnosed with cancer in 2012. Ever since, she had undergone about 11 major surgeries as a part of her treatment.

On the work front, Saranya was one of the much-loved actors of Malayalam TV. Her characters in shows like Manthrakodi, Harichandanam, Seetha were popular among the telly audience.
