In a poignant conclusion to the beloved Malayalam show 'Santhwanam,' actress Gopika Anil, who portrayed the character Anjali, poured her heart out in a heartfelt note on social media. The show, which has been a fan favorite, reached its milestone of 1002 episodes, leaving viewers with a cascade of emotions.

Sharing her sentiments on the last day of the shoot, Gopika Anil expressed the heaviness in her heart as she bid farewell to the character that became an integral part of her artistic journey. In a poignant video accompanying the note, Anjali is seen in tears, saying her goodbyes to the set and the people who became like family during the show's run.


"Last day, last shot as Anjali was really heartbreaking. I feel heavy-hearted realizing that I cannot step in front of the camera as Anjali and be Anjali for you anymore. I miss being ANJALI... Anjali has all my heart. Feels like that character was made just for me. Never saw the beautiful journey it’d lead me on. Living the character was more real than just acting. Big shoutout to the awesome crew for trusting me and giving me Anjali. And a massive thanks to the audience for embracing the character and treating me like family. Appreciate everything.
