On the special occasion,

Alliyambal

's Alli aka Pallavi Gowda has shared her excitement of completing the milestone.

“We are very happy to say that today we have successfully and happily completed 200 episodes. I want to thank Shiju sir and my co-stars. Thank you so much for all our fans especially on social media. We thank all the viewers of Alliyambal for staying with us and for the love they have showered upon us," Pallavi expressed.

The romantic tale directed by Shiju Aroor portrays the love-story between Alli, a bold, extrovert school teacher and Devan, a calm, composed young man. The difference in their mindsets, upbringing and lifestyle make their love story sweet and complicated at the same time.

The serene beauty of Alappuzha is very well captured in the show and this is often commented as one of the cynosures of the show. The striking on-screen chemistry of Pallavi Gowda and Jai Dhanush is widely appreciated by the fans and the duo holds a huge fan following on social media.

Interestingly, Jai Dhanush's real-life wife Keerthi is seen playing Jai's on-screen sister-in-law, Archa, the main antagonist of the show.
