' managed to earn a huge fan following with his debut show. His character ‘Ajay’ is often regarded as the representative of today’s youth in Kerala. Ajay's transformation from a lazy boy to a responsible husband was hailed by the fans too.

In a candid chat with TimesofIndia.com, the young sensation shares about playing his popular character, his acting career, the striking chemistry with on-screen brother

"Initially men came to me and said that they never watch serials and blamed their wives to be serial addicts. But, lately, they come to me to comment about my character and share that they are fans of Seetha Kalyanam. They praise my character and often say that Ajay is one amongst them," Jithu shares.

started his acting career playing the lead in Tamil horror drama 'Aathira'. Later, after trying his luck on the silver screen, the actor got cast in Seetha Kalyanam as the reel brother of Anoop Krishnan.

Talking about the striking chemistry between Anoop, Jithu shared that they share a brotherly vibe off-screen too.

When asked about the similarities with the character he plays, Jithu shares that he was also as lazy as Ajay.

"I was also lazy like Ajay. If its marriage that transformed Ajay, it is my passion for acting that made me disciplined and dedicated," the passionate actor opens up.

Even if his biggest aim is to do movies, Jithin feels overwhelmed with the responses he is receiving for his character.

"Ajay is one of the supporting characters of the show, but I was lucky enough to play many shades. I’m happy that my experiments are well accepted by the audience," Jithu signs off thanking the viewers.
