Singer and former Bigg Boss Malayalam contestant Abhirami is notable for her ways of voicing against injustice. This time, Abhirami is gaining attention with one of her videos slamming an online streaming channel for their misleading thumbnail.
In the video shared on her social media account, Abhirami pointed out that one of the popular online streaming channels has used the image of her sister Amritha crying, as the thumbnail of a video about the demise of the daughter of a non-Malayali actress.

This is unacceptable
'This video is to talk about one of the thumbnails that caught my attention. The thumbnail has the face of all popular Amrithas in Kerala. As you all know, my sister doesn't really bother about such things, but I do. People might counter the question, why do you have a problem when you people are sharing your personal life online? But, there is something called privacy that needs to be secured. The way online channels tarnish one's life and cook up stories with them is unacceptable," Abhirami said.

Please show some mercy
Further in the video, she said that such cooked-up stories can even lead to suicides.
"You will know the pain only when it comes to you or to someone whom you love. It might be one of those clickbait stories but that one thing can even lead to that person taking his own life. Please show some mercy at least in such sensitive topics," she said.
