Kannada actress Yamuna Shrinidhi continues to express her gratitude to our Indian Army soldiers through the divine art form, Bharathanatyam. After performing in Indian Army regiments in North India, Yamuna was recently invited by the Army Units in Bangalore.
Yamuna was invited to perform Bharathanatyam at the special event. The actress was also invited by the Para Regiment Center to perform at their prestigious "Raising Day" which was held yesterday (June 22).
Sharing her experience exclusively with ETimes TV, the elated actress said, "I am feeling absolutely elated to receive this honor. It was my dream to express my humble gratitude to our warriors through the divine art form I have learned and worshipped."
She continued by saying, "In the past I have performed the Indian classical dance form, Bharathanatyam to offer salutations to the supreme Lord, raise funds for the victims of the natural disaster, to warm the hearts of the senior citizens in the old age homes. And now, I am performing to express my humble gratitude to our saviors, the soldiers of Indian Armed Forces. It is a feeling of attaining salvation."
On the other hand, the actress seemed to be elated as she earned many praises from the Indian Army officers and their family members over her gesture of expressing gratitude to them through the art form.
Yamuna recently visited martyr's families who made their supreme sacrifice for our motherland.
Speaking about the same, the actress requests, "Being responsible citizens, we have many ways to express our gratitude to our soldiers who are protecting us selflessly. Pray for our soldier's well-being, greet them, thank them, and laud their sacrifices when you see a soldier in public. Visit their families in your cities and offer any help they need while their brave son is out there protecting us at the borders."
