Ginirama is all set to entertain viewers with a special episode called Shivaramana Shivaratri, on Mahashivaratri tomorrow, from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm.
The episode will be unique, as Shivaramu (Ritvvikk Mathad) the protagonist, has already taken his wife
Mahathi (Nayana) on Padayathra to Somanatheshwara temple, to celebrate the festival.
Speaking about the special episdoes, actor Ritvvik says, “Mahashivaratri is always special as we celebrate by visiting a nearby temple on Mahashivaratri.
In north Karnataka, people go on Padayathra to Shiva temples and chant Shiva verses. Since Ginirama is making efforts to bring North Karnataka’s culture into the entertainment industry, we have shot this episode which I thoroughly enjoyed. I am sure audiences will love it.”
Ginirama is the only serial on a Kannada general entertainment channel which has used the North Karnataka dialect in its storyline, and has garnered the interest of viewers. Ritvvikk, who hails from North
Karnataka, did not find any difficulty in playing the role, as he was familiar with the language since childhood, though he lives in Bengaluru. Ginirama is the official remake of the Marathi serial Jeev Zala Yeda Pisa.
