Popular Telugu movie Alaa Vaikunthapurramuloo, which was dubbed in Kannada under the title Hage Vaikuntapuradali, will premiere on Kannada televisoin on Sunday, at 6:30pm on the occasion of Dasara. The film is directed by Trivikram Srinivas and co-produced by Allu Arvind and S Radha
Krishna under their banners Geetha Arts and Haarika and Creations.
The film has Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde in lead roles, while Tabu, Jayaram, Sushanth,
Navdeep, Nivetha Pethuraj,
Samuthirakani,
Murali Sharma, Rajendra Prasad,
Sunil, Sachin Khedekar and Harsha Vardhan are seen in significant roles.
S S Thaman has scored the music, while cinematography and editing were handled by P S Vinod and Naveen Nooli, respectively.
The plot of the movie is that Bantu, played by Allu Arjun, is hated and neglected by his father Valmiki (Sharma). He joins a travel company which is owned by Amulya, played by Pooja Hegde. He meets his biological father Ramchandra (Jayaram) accidentally while striking a business deal. Bantu later learns that his biological father is not Valmiki, but a rich businessman, Ramachandra. Bantu enters Ramachandra's house, Vaikuntapura to protect his biological family.
Actors Rahul Ramakrishna, Navdeep, Sunil, Harsha Vardhan are seen in supporting roles. Samuthirakani is seen in the role of the antagonist. The song Butta Bomma from the movie became very popular among audiences.
